The new unit, Gimp

Hi people!
GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. It works on many operating systems, in many languages.
I started a new unit called Gimp. For the moment, in it I learned to:
-make a drawing with gimp










-put a shadow on a word










-make a border of a word
-make the logo of a word (like more shops or styles)
-flip or turn over an image












-I made some photographic collages 

-and I review other units

They are very easy and fun to make. I finished all the exercises! I have to tell you that they are very, very, very easy, but I need time for them to be PERFECT. Toni gave us more exercises. There were many exercises, but we had to do them all. I'm satisfied, because finally there are exercises and not theory, which I hate. I think we are half way through, or more or less. Well, these exercises are more easy than the earlier ones, imagine it! I learned new easy interesting things with them about the changes and the retouches of the images. Like taking off a thing from a picture or putting it in, under it, behind it, but you can see it, etc. In summary, you can make more useful things with GIMP, it is used by the specialists too. Unit 4

Hi! I told you the other time that I'm studying a new unit called Writer, that I love. This unit deals with an operating system called Ubuntu. It has its variants, its history, its benefit, its choice, its freedom, its usability, etc. And also about Linux and its distributions with its logos:

We did some activities with these things, and we worked with Libre Office. I learn to change the colour of the letters, to change the paragraphs, to put the letters in Italics, in Bold, Underlined, to put the footer and the header, and underline in this,etc. to put a caption on a photo, picture or table, to make a table and put border, background colour, etc. in this and more things that were easy to learn and do.

And we did nine activities for practice, and the exam. I thing it was ok. I'll tell you my mark when I know it, I hope that this will be better than the last exam.

We start a new unit called Writer. There aren't teory only exercise, I love these unit!!!

1st evaluation

Hi! I study C.I.T. (computers information technology). My teachers are Toni Saura and Jessica Valdez. We're ten students in the class: Aida, Jose, Sonia, Fernando, Carlos, Rubén, Rocío, Juan, Bolabote and me.
- This term we studied the unit 1, called: Hadware and Software. This unit is divided into four parts:
1 Computer fundamentals, 2 Computers history, 3 Types of computers, and 4 Units of measurement; but we only studied 1, 2 and 4.
- I learned things from these units ( theory and practical).
- We did some activities, like search the components of a computer or create an email account.
- The most interesting for me was the exercise of Computers by components, because it is an exercise and I hate the theory. Here you have some pictures:

Hello my name's Ángela. I have 12 years old. I have dark sking and brown hair. Also I have brown and big eyes. I'm a student of the secundary school IES Salvador Gadea. My favorit colour is the pink. I have three brothers. My favorite sport is football. I like the dog beagle. I love my clothes. I like all the subjects, I think I'm a very good student.
